Janneke Wade-de Jong
Janneke Wade-de Jong is a filmmaker and Part-Time Faculty at Parsons School of Design and Part-Time Faculty at UNCW (teaching online). She’s interested in working in the documentary field, particularly directing and editing documentaries. Janneke is passionate about the artistry and storytelling aspect of filmmaking and enjoys the collaborative process as well. Janneke is organized, communicative and a creative problem solver. She’s passionate about mental health and social justice issues. Janneke is currently in the process of making a short documentary film that portrays an intimate portrait of an African American man’s life living with schizophrenia. She has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking at University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
